A Message from Jill

It is my pleasure to serve the citizens of Monroe County as County Councilwoman from District 4. A new subcommittee, the Fleet Financing Committee, meets at 4:30 on the third Tuesday of the month, and I am chair of this committee. Fuel conservation measures and wise vehicle purchasing will get our focused attention. The Council's 2008 Energy Conservation Resolution (Energy Resolution 2008) will play a large role in directing our efforts.

I strongly support the Council's 2007 Space Needs Resolution,( Resolution 2007-60 Master Plan Space Needs.pdf) and will support and watch closely the progress toward creating a Juvenile Treatment Center and meeting the space needs of our Corrections Department, Courts, and other County services.

I represent the Council on the Convention and Visitor's Commission, and the Monroe County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, and I am the Council liaison to four departments: Auditor, Corrections, Health, and Sheriff.

Sincerely,

500 N. Walnut St. Apt. 401
Bloomington, IN
